Daily maintenance and maintenance of semi-trailers

2021/02/04 15:42:24

Safe driving is the top priority of the truck's career. Semi-trailers carry dozens of tons and hundreds of tons of cargo every day. To prevent problems, trailers should be inspected every week or before each transportation. The more comprehensive the inspection items, the better, the following is an introduction to the daily maintenance and maintenance items:

1. Look at the appearance of the tire:

Visually check that there is no lack of air or debris adhesion, and then check whether the steel ring is deformed or cracked.

2. Check the tightness of the tire screws:

Don’t be too troublesome with this detail. You should check whether each screw is fastened one by one. It’s a trivial thing to run away a screw on the way. Losing a tire can also be solved by money, but if you run into an accident, you will regret it. . To paraphrase the phrase "tires are nothing trivial", I hope you all remember.

3.look at the suspension system, whether it eats tires:

Look at the tightness of all nuts, bolts, and U-bolts, which are related to whether you eat a tire.

4. Shake the outrigger to see if it is normal:

The outrigger inspection must be shaken up and down for a few times, and then check whether there are cracks in the welding place, especially the riders who are now running and hanging, must pay attention to this problem.

5. Is the abrasion of the moving parts normal?

Reach out and feel for small parts such as hinges, hooks, pegs, and container locks to see if there are any cracks or breaks.

6. Check whether all the lamps and the reverse cursor paste are complete:

Just check if there is any abnormality. Get on the car and turn on the lights to see if there are any broken lights. There is no shortage of reflective signs. I believe that some card friends have been punished because of defective reflective signs.

7. Check whether the connection between the index truck and the semi-trailer is normal:

After starting the car, check whether the air pressure gauge is enough, and then try to brake with a foot brake.

8. Listen for the sound of brake leakage:

Get out of the car and listen for air leaks, and test whether the brakes are working well.

After everything is checked, there is no problem before you can go on the road. No matter when, safety is the first thing. Finally, I wish all friends a safe journey!
